Event Details

On Thursday 17th May, we'll be welcoming Benjamin Cohen, tech correspondent at Channel 4 News, and his producer Andrew Macfadyen to Talking Shop.

Cohen joined Channel 4 News in 2006 following a stint writing columns about e-business for Times Online.

His conversion to journalism followed an eventful early career as founder of Beenz, the dot.com era online loyalty rewards service that attracted funding from Oracle's Larry Ellison, among others.

Cohen works across Channel 4 News at Noon, Channel 4 News and More 4 News.

He also works on the new radio programme The Morning Report, which is broadcast on digital station Oneword and is also available as a podcast.

Ben will be talking about what makes a good story for Channel 4 News. On the night, he'll be aided and abetted by producer Andrew Macfadyen -- and hopefully some video footage illustrating the highs and lows of reporting tech for a TV audience.

Please note: We were forced to postpone Ben's appearance at Talking Shop at short notice after he was taken ill a few days before this event.

As soon as Ben has recovered, we plan to re-schedule this event. We'd like to apologise for any inconvenience caused by this postponement.

Fullrun will be in touch with attendees just as soon as we've confirmed a new date.

In the meantime, anyone who has purchased a ticket for this event may request an immediate refund.

Alternatively, we're happy if you'd prefer to hold on to your place until we can re-schedule Ben's appearance at Talking Shop.

If you'd prefer, there's a third option. We'll happily transfer your booking at this event to another of our events.

Please drop us a line if you've got any questions.

Regards
