Greetings Everyone,

Hurricane Who is very excited to be announcing some changes and additions  to our event at Cricketers Arms Pub this Halloween weekend, Hurricane Who: Disaster Relief.

Taking place on Saturday, October 30th, 2010, we are pleased to announce that we have changed the ticket set up so that admission is now FREE. There is a suggested donation of $10 requested, but we are making this change to be more accomodating for all of our fans. 

 We are very pleased to be able to announce another Guest joining us that evening. A man who helped introduce the Daleks to a new generation, and great friend to Hurricane Who. 

Joining us on that evening will be...

Rob Shearman 

Rob wrote the New Series episode "Dalek" starring Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper, for which he was nominated for a Hugo Award. He is also a World Fantasy Award winning writer with his short story collections. Disaster Relief marks Rob's second trip to the Pub, and we look forward to seeing him.

Also on deck for that night is something that we simply could not do without. Since it is Halloween, we will be continuing with our Annual Costume Contest. Costumers and enthusiasts are encouraged to dress up in your best Costume. Be it Time Lord, Companion, Starfleet Officer, or Steampunk Ghostbuster, all are welcome. There will be prizes in store for the evening.

Joining us that evening will be a new face around the Pub. Bad Wolf Henna are local henna enthusiasts who have a variety of Doctor Who henna designs. Their website and pricing information is forthcoming, so keep checking HurricaneWho.com for details!

Since we are going to be at the Pub, where would we be without a video?? We have several items set up for the evening, the most exciting thing is a trip to Bannerman Road. In the series four episode "Death of the Doctor", both The Doctor (played by Matt Smith) and former companion Jo Grant (played by Katy Manning) drop in Sarah Jane and company for what promises to be a very memorable adventure.

Am I finished?? No.. I havent even mentioned the Time Lord Rock Band!?! We will be announcing them as soon as we can get the schedule firmed up for the Pub.

Please be aware that while we plan on trying to accomodate as many fans as possible, there is a very real chance that this event could SELL OUT due to venue capacity. If you are able to get your tickets in advance, we would strongly suggest that you do.
