Join us for some fun and laughs as we put some obedience moves and party tricks to music.  Canine Freestyle is an up and coming sport that emphasizes teamwork and indulges our creative side in thinking outside the box.  We are thrilled to have Linda Campagna join us for this event.  Linda has over a decade of experience training and competing in freestyle; she will give us a freestyle demonstration and offer tips on music selection, choreography, and freestyle component training to get us started.

As time permits, we'll work on one or more of the following components: our dogs walking on both our right and left side, spins and twists, leg weaves, backing up, and jumping (a body part or prop), and we'll consider a trick to incorporate that capitalizes on our dog's personality and talents.

As always, bring a hungry dog (no food after 9 a.m.), a clicker, and 4-5 varieties of soft, moist YUMMY treats.  If you have a hulu hoop or cane, or some other prop you'd like to use, bring that too.  Bring several CDs of happy, upbeat music to be inspired by (marches and waltzes NOT recommended).

Don't worry if you think you have 2 left feet, or that you can't keep the beat, this event is about having fun with your dog, and together we can put all the right moves in all the right places and achieve some great teamwork at our own tempos.
