Thursday, May 24, 2007 from 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM (PT)
Join us this month at Adobe's SOMA HQ for a presentation and discussion on Second Life and the potential for virtual worlds to deliver real world business value. We will hear several different case studies of how brands have been able to successfully enter Second Life from Ted Tagami of Millions of Us (http://www.millionsofus.com/). The presentation will be followed by a round table discussion and a live Exploration of Second LIfe (with a special surprise). Ted will be joined by his Millions of Us colleagues - Mat Small, Director of PR, and Kathleen Craig, Producer.
We have closed down registration for this event, however, we will be accepting walk-ins tonight so feel free to register at the security desk. .
--------------
In an interactive forum, we discuss review the latest in tools, technologies and success stories. The local group shares opinions on the role of Social Media in the present and future of PR, marketing, journalism and corporate America.
The gathering is free to attend, though we do ask that you pre-register so we know you are coming as Adobe has graciously offered to provide pizzas and drinks, and we need an accurate head count. Also, this is a secure building so in order to get past the security desk, your name needs to be on 'the list'.
We would also like to thank our co-sponsor, Crimson Consulting, (http://www.crimson-consulting.com/ )for their assistance in the organization of the event and for providing drinks and snacks at our various events.
If you would like to volunteer to lead a discussion, or offer suggestions on topics or speakers, please contact us at socialmediaclub [at] gmail [dot] com. We believe everyone and anyone should have a chance to be in the spotlight.
And if you would like to be kept up to date on future events, please sign up on the San Francisco mailing list at http://lists.socialmediaclubmail.com/mailman/listinfo/smc-sf.
