AMAZING CHALLENGE

On Your Mark… Get Set… Go!!!
Pinkberry Louisiana invites youngsters and adults in the New Orleans metro area to take part in the Son of a Saint Amazing Challenge. The challenging and educational competition highlight’s the Son of a Saint Foundation’s mission to enhance the lives of fatherless young males.
The 5 mile challenge will take place on April 20, 2013 and the course will take you through the beautiful Magazine Street. The competition begins at Pinkberry on Canal (300 Canal St.) and finishes at Pinkberry Magazine (5601 Magazine St.) with what else - a party! The race will feature 11 different challenges and activities involving mentorship, education and sports. Each task will take place at various businesses or public facilities along the route.
Some of the challenge locations include: Pinkberry, Games 2U NOLA, Manning’s, World War II Museum, the New Orleans Public Library, New Orleans Fire Department Engine 1, New Orleans Police Department District 2 station, Chet Pourciau Design and Charcoals Gourmet Burger Bar.
The teams of two will feature one boy or girl (9 to 13 years old), and one adult over the age of 18. This is a great event for mentors and mentees. The race is open to the public but has very limited availability, so purchase your ticket today! The last day to register is Wednesday, April 17th. Contact sonny@sonofasaint.org for questions.
Once your ticket is purchased pick up your t-shirt, race number and rules at Pinkberry Magazine (5601 Magazine St.) on Wednesday, April 17th between noon - 7pm.
The Son of a Saint Amazing Challenge prizes will include, A 7 Day Complimentery Stay for 4-6 people at a resort in Orlando (Disney World). Eat Pinkberry with a Jabari Greer (Saints Defensive Back) and Friends! Also Magazine Street gift bag and more.
