George Washington’s personal copy of Acts of Congress will be on display for a limited engagement at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum. This rare treasure includes Washington’s remarkably well-preserved copy of the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and other legislation passed by the first session of Congress. The book features Washington’s handwritten personal notes, penciled in the margins, where he highlighted passages of particular interest.
