Astonished Harvest, a program in poetry and medicine at the Stony Brook University Medical Center, will present a reading at the Walt Whitman Birthplace. Poets from Astonished Harvest will present their work and also offer an open mic for those in the audience who wish to read poems informed by the experience of illness and healing.
