Event Details

This session provides an overview of the theories and technologies that shape our current approaches to distance education. The workshop includes an introduction and review of the decision-making processes that faculty use to determine which distance learning technologies are best suited to their course content and learner population. The workshop also includes descriptions and examples of popular distance delivery methods. Upon completing the workshop, participants will have a better understanding of their distance-teaching options and reasons for selecting specific activities and delivery methods.
