The Hunger Coalition is hosting It's 30th Annual Poor People's Day at the Capitol event. This is a two day event starting Wednesday February 10th and Thursday February 11th at 9am our theme this year is JOBS or INCOME NOW. Wednesday is EDUCATION DAY and the planned activities include Interfaith Prayer, Panel Discussion about Community Issues, Community Speak Out, Breakout Sessions, and Cultural Expression. Thursday is ACTION DAY the planned activities are a Rally at The Hunger Coaltion 9 Gammon Ave. SE Atlanta GA. 30315, People's Freedom Caravan through Peoplestown, Pittsburg, Mechanicsville and Summerhill Communities to the State Capitol 206 Washington St. SW, Atlanta, GA. 30334 followed by a Policy Briefing / Press Event on JOBS and INCOME.
