Please join us for this free FHWA sponsored exchange on Transportation Safety in Planning (TSP). Jim Thorne from the FHWA Resource Center and the FHWA Florida Division Office will provide information and tools for TSP. The Metropolitan Planning Organizations in Florida are invited to share their current activities and experiences related to TSP. An overview of the State's Safety Program and the development and implementation of the Strategic Highway Safety Plan, as well as reommendations on how safety can and should be considered during the planning process will be discussed.
