The Optimize Center: Providing the Breakthroughs that Prevent Breakdowns!

The public is invited  to meet Dr. Rhoberta Shaler and celebrate the grand opening of The Optimize Center at 365 West Second Avenue, Suite 101A,  on Saturday, March 20th from 10– 4 PM.  To learn more about her services and seminars as well as to request regular information about upcoming programs, visit www.OptimizeCenter.com.

The Optimize Center offers individuals, couples, business owners and organizations skills, strategies and insights to manage relationship difficulties before they result in irreparable, costly breakdowns.  Whether it is a business, partnership or marriage, it can be a wise step to seek professional help. Determining what can be remedied and strengthened, what needs to be mediated, or when dissolution is necessary requires skills.

Rhoberta Shaler, PhD, psychologist, consultant, counselor and mediator, opened  The Optimize Center, in November offering classes, counseling and consulting. She has been helping businesses prosper and people flourish since 1982.  An expert in getting to the heart of communication, conflict and collaboration, Dr. Shaler says:

“Far too many people fail to address evident problems, hoping time or circumstances will rectify issues. Seldom is it true that time or circumstances are the issues as healthy relationships are rarely built on either. Wise people pro-actively address relationship issues to achieve their goals for living or work together respectfully. People who care about their families and businesses seek out the secrets, strategies, skills and support they need to better manage conflict while improving communication.”

The Optimize Center, sharing the main floor of 365 West Second Avenue with Robert Ferguson Galleries, offers sessions  to improve and strengthen collaboration in personal and business life.  Working with Dr. Shaler gives individuals and organizations the skills and insights to build the successful lives and businesses they envision.

Anger management skills are the keys to solving many relationship issues. Regularly-scheduled courses systematically help participants uncover the underlying issues and develop the skills to manage their responses to situations appropriately. Both the eight-week and twelve-week programs also meet the requirements of court mandates.

Small businesses owners often try to work on a friendship, family or loyalty model. This frequently leads to disappointment and dysfunction. Shaler says:

“The investment in optimizing collaboration through facilitated team development can increase satisfaction and profit, no matter the size of the business. That makes it both a necessary and wise investment.”

She has helped hundreds of individuals and businesses accelerate their growth by providing success solutions for communication, conflict and collaboration.  Leading them to clarify their values, vision, beliefs and purpose creates the alignment necessary for optimizing relationships and results.

Dr. Shaler has worked extensively with people experiencing life-threatening diseases and their families during eight years of owning Serenity Farm Retreat in British Columbia. She was previously the president of the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counselors.  Shaler has spoken at major conferences throughout North American and consulted with leaders and teams in many industries and organizations.  Author of nine books and many helpful audio programs, Dr. Shaler is a widely-recognized expert in the areas of communication, conflict and collaboration.
