The Grand Rapids Silverlight 4 Firestarter is an all day event for beginner to intermediate developers and designers which provides an overview of Silverlight 4, including what tools are useful in development, and the knowledge in order to start building applications. The day will begin with Silverlight basics and ramp up to more advanced technologies. Towards the end of the day participants will have the opportunity to build a Silverlight application and experiment with what they’ve learned.

The event will be located in downtown Grand Rapids at The Factory. Coffee and donuts will be provided in the morning and we will take a break at lunch for people to get some fresh air and a bite to eat. Registration is free but will be limited to the first 50 people who sign up.

There is no need to have already played with Silverlight before coming, come to the event and get fired up to start developing in Silverlight!
