Gene Wood has served as Senior Pastor of Grace Church of Glendora, California since 1991. His passion is the local church. Grace has enjoyed 10 consecutive years of growth necessitating continual expansion of properties and campus construction.

Previous pastorates were in Oregon, Pennsylvania and Ohio. Each church has been an established congregation undergoing the trauma of plateau and decline. Gene has hammered out the lessons he shares in his books through trial and error, failure and success. Turnaround ministry is his focus and life experience.

Gene is the author of two successful books. The first, Leading Turnaround Churches was published in 2001. The second book, Leading Turnaround Teams was published in 2004.
