Pitching and Presenting Skills

In this session, Christine Pyke will explore the skills you need to make an effective pitch to the people who hold the cash.  An interactive session, you’ll be looking at what makes a good presentation and how to plan an effective pitch.

Christine Pyke is a media consultant, trainer and lecturer whose background includes producing documentaries and entertainment series for the BBC, ITV and Channel 4. She set up and ran her own independent production company and carried out training for Skillset and North West Vision and Media.

Fabric, in partnership with the University of Bradford's School of Media, has developed the ‘Creative Toolkit’ programme.  The ‘Creative Toolkit’ provides networking opportunities, coaching sessions, training events and seminars, all designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills for careers in the creative industries. This programme is supported by funding from the West Yorkshire Lifelong Learning Network.
