CleanEdison has combined our retrofit installation Training courses into a single two week Weatherization Installer Bootcamp in order to save you time and money on Training while still getting you the certifications and Training hours required by employers and government programs. This boot camp was created to bring those interested in joining the growing energy efficiency industry as retrofit installers from beginners to experts. Many states and utilities incentivize home owners to have energy efficiency measures installed on their homes, but these often can only be offered if it is done by a certified professional. Furthermore, this boot camp covers all of the certification and Training requirements to qualify for the NREL / BPI Retrofit Installer Certification exam.

What you'll learn

This combination starts of with the OSHA 10 Hour Training that is required by many states and localities to work on construction projects. The boot camp also includes introductory BPI Training to get you acquainted with the equipment and methods used for installing basic efficiency measures. Then, you will also go through Level I Thermography Training to solidify your knowledge of this key tool in measuring building efficiency. Finally, you will learn how to apply what you've learned to more advanced retrofit installation techniques through the intensive, focused NREL / BPI Retrofit Installer portion of the boot camp. All this is accomplished in two weeks and you come away with four separate certifications to help you stand out in this highly competitive field.

BPI Certification:

This boot camp is designed to prepare you to pass the three certification exams that take place and the end of each section of the course. Upon successful competition of the course and certification exams, you will receive an OSHA 10 Certification, BPI Whole House Air Leakage Control Installer Certification, ASNT Level I Thermography Certification and NREL / BPI Retrofit Installer Certification.
