In partnership with the Free Library of
Philadelphia & MiND TV, Louise Krasniewicz, an instructor in cinema
studies and anthropology at the University of Pennsylvania, will
provide an introduction to Comic Life, and easy to computer software
program that creates comic book art. She will demonstrate the program,
explain how she has used it in her courses, and discuss the value as a
pedagogical tool.
This event is being offered in conjunction with the Free Library of
Philadelphia’s One Book 2010 program, eight inspired weeks of
workshops, performances, discussions and feasts.

Philadelphia) and internet channel devoted to community empowerment, lifelong
learning, and short-form, community-generated content. MiND TV’s innovative
format consists entirely of 5-minute programs about a wide variety of topics,
many made by its members.
You can be a part of MiND and submit your 5 minute programs to air
on television in the Philadelphia market! MiND also provides video production
training programs to help get your programs made.
