Event Details

In partnership with the Free Library of Philadelphia & MiND TV, Louise Krasniewicz, an instructor in cinema studies and anthropology at the University of Pennsylvania, will provide an introduction to Comic Life, and easy to computer software program that creates comic book art. She will demonstrate the program, explain how she has used it in her courses, and discuss the value as a pedagogical tool.

This event is being offered in conjunction with the Free Library of Philadelphia’s One Book 2010 program, eight inspired weeks of workshops, performances, discussions and feasts.

Participants are encouraged to download a free trial of the software (available at comiclife.com) to their personal laptops and bring them to the event.
