Let's Celebrate!  After the EMC Conference, we have the unique opportunity to continue the conversation with Brian and each other in a relaxed setting.  Union Theological Seminary and the young adults of Marble Collegiate Church are hosting a Reception at James Chapel at the Seminary.  The amazing Nude Truths art exhibit, used in journal form during the conference, will be shown at the Chapel and the artists will be present from Norway and Iowa.  Brian McLaren will be present as well for continued conversation over appetizers and drinks and Tracy Howe will share her musical talents. We'll go to James Chapel, Union Theological Seminary in NYC (3041 Broadway at 121st Street).  Buses will be available from the conference site immediately following the end of the Conference.  We'll request rsvps a few weeks prior to the event.  Please join us for this one-of-a-kind reception!

Please join Everything Must Change tour sponsors for an afternoon of service learning at the A Badillo Community Rose Garden in the Melrose section of the Bronx.  This three hour service project is an opportunity to put your faith into practice while learning from activists and residents about the role this and other local gardens play in their neighborhoods.  Community gardens have been an icon of the environmental justice and beautification movements in New York City for the past forty years, providing direct solutions to issues ranging from lack of sustainable food sources and green space to childhood asthma.  This event will begin at 1:00pm on Sunday May, 4^th at the  A Badillo Community Rose Garden on the corner of 163^rd St. and Melrose Ave.
