2012 was a great year for awesome coffee at Blanchard's Coffee Co.
We took a huge step when we partnered with an independent importer to bring direct trade Dominican Republic Jarabacoa coffee to our repretoiore.
Suffice to say, our whistle has been wet and we're eager to foster new direct trade agreements to bring our coffee loving fans the best coffees directly tradeded from small farms to produce a great cup that is sustainable and directly connected from farm to cup.
We figured the best way to pick the direct trade coffee that everyone would stand behind would be to ask our fans to choose their favorite, so we're inviting everyone out to cup the top contenders with us.
In addition to tasting some awesome coffees and learning about cupping/roasting and the farms on which our favorite coffees are grown, we're crowdsourcing some ideas for branding and marketing with some industry heavy hitters in design and folks from Grid Magazine.
