Event Details

Humans and Human Resources (HR) are by nature very complex. This session will give you an overview of the most frequent HR Mistakes and steps you can take to avoid them. The session will be interactive and emphasis will be based on the areas of participant interest.

We will cover several key areas including:

  • Employee Handbook/Job Descriptions
  • Terminations
  • Employee Records
  • Hiring & Promotions
  • Training
  • Policies
  • Employment Law (including Independent Consultants)

The penalties for employer compliance violations can be devastating. This session is intended to give employers a basic overview of common mistakes that are often overlooked by small employers. Larger organizations have HR departments to protect them. This session will help you protect yourself and become a better employer. Participants will be encouraged to ask questions.

Presented by Michael Salomon, CBPA Insperity
