The Aftermath of Copenhagen: What now?

Join us for an hour long webinar to explore what happened (and didn’t) at the climate talks in Copenhagen and where we go from here. Hear from two experts who were present at the talks. Our panelists are Dr James Hansen, NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies, who has been studying and speaking about climate change since the 1980’s, and Alan AtKisson, author of the ISIS Agreement and Believing Cassandra, will also share his perspective about the talks in his capacity working on a project for the United Nations.

James E. Hansen  heads the NASA  Goddard Institute for Space Studies since 1981. He is also an adjunct professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Columbia University.

Alan AtKisson: On the faculty for ISSP. In 1992, Alan began consulting on sustainability and founded the small business that has grown into the AtKisson Group. He has led the Group since then, with two breaks to take other positions temporarily: Director of the National Indicators Program (and later Interim Executive Director) at Redefining Progress, a US economic policy think-tank; and transitional Executive Director of Earth Charter International, the coordinating hub for the global Earth Charter Initiative. In 2001, he moved to Stockholm Sweden, established the office of AtKisson Europe, and continued to grow the AtKisson Group and spread its tools and methods.
