TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE

The tournament format is an individual/team competition consisting of 5 rounds using the Swiss Pairing System in 4 divisions. Time control will be Game/25 with no delay (25 minutes for each player = 50 minutes total per round)
In each division, the top three teams and the top 4 individuals (who are not a member of a qualifying team) will advance from the regional playoffs to the City Championship. Teams will be limited to 5 players at the City Championship and the players must have competed in the regional playoff tournament.
Players must be preregistered and check-in by 9:00 on the day of the tournament to be paired for round 1.
The tournament will be played according to the US Chess Federation Official Rules of Chess, 5th Ed. The use of electronic devices in the tournament room is strictly forbidden; i.e. IPODs, cell phones, electronic scoring devices, etc.
