As you walk into the class, you’ll be greeted with hot milk chai.
We begin the class with Kerala Chicken Curry, which is chicken curry in a coconut milk gravy from scratch using high quality chicken, fresh herbs, spices, and other ingredients. You'll learn how to make a garama masala from scratch as part of this wonderful, authentic recipe.
We'll pair this perfect chicken curry with coconut rice that we'll cook from scratch as well. This rice dish is very versatile and can be paired with just about anything. This is a recipe you'll find yourself returning to quite a bit in the future.
Lastly, we'll prepare Shrikand, a sweet and sour creamy dessert infused with a couple of special ingredients to make this dessert even extra amazing.
NOTE: this is a hands-on cooking class, you'll prep, cook, and eat during the class. You'll have an opportunity not only to learn some great recipes, but also good kitchen skills and practices. I prepare nothing ahead of time, we do everything during the class :)
NOTE: this class doesn't have an appetizer, please eat a snack before coming in.
