What you’ll learn:
This 35-hour BPI Weatherization Installer Training course prepares participants to implement home performance and weatherization retrofits to BPI’s “house-as-a-system” best practice standards. The course covers job health and safety, house as a system, introductory building science, air sealing, fire protection and combustion safety awareness. Trainees will learn the BPI methods for HVAC sealing, insulation, ventilation system installation and repair, and other retrofit work involved in improving the energy efficiency in a home.
