A celebration of Spanish food and wine at Heirloom Cafe on February 10th, beginning at 6pm. One dish after another will be served, often family style, and four wines (two Crianzas and two Reservas) from the great Rioja producer Lopez de Heredia will be available by the glass:

2003 Bosconia Reserva ($13)
1996 Tondonia Blanco Reserva ($14)
The menu:
- manchego and membrillo
- chicken and serrano croquettes
- fried goat cheese with caramelized onions
- mussels in sherry broth
- garlic, parsley and sherry glazed mushrooms
- salt cod stuffed piquillo peppers
- chorizo, cheese and honey in phyllo
- papas bravas
- blood orange, almond, cheese and molasses
- Catalan-style spinach with pine nuts, raisins and apples
Rumored desserts involve rice pudding and churros.
The cost for food, tax and tip is $50 per person.
Tickets are transferrable but non-refundable.
