Join Women’s eNews for a special Earth Day conversation putting women in the picture on environmental hazards from face cream to fracking.
Moderator – Corinna Barnard
Corinna Barnard is Women’s eNews editor, a writer whose journalism background spans coverage of finance, arms control, medicine, technology and parenting issues. In her most recent full-time position she worked for Dow Jones, Inc., where for many years she served as news editor for an international newswire covering emerging markets and later as a copy editor for The Wall Street Journal. Earlier in her career, Corinna was a radio commentator for "In The Public Interest," a national public-affairs radio program.

Suzanne Nagy
Suzanne C. Nagy is a visual artist and curator with a focus on the overlapping issues of environmental degradation and social justice for women and children. She lives and works in New York City. Nagy is listed in the "Who's Who" successful American women directory, a member of the Yale Club and also listed in all Hungarian art publications as an artist and collector. She has a degree in economy and international business and studied art at New York Art Student League. Susan worked as a movie producer until 1986 with such names as George Clooney, Louis Fletcher, Charlie Sheen, Laura Dern and Deborah Raffin. Nagy’s newest exhibition on fracking in New York opens at Women’s eNews’ HQ on April 22 and runs through June.
Molly M. Ginty
Molly M. Ginty is an award-winning health reporter based in New York City. A twelve-year contributor to Women’s eNews, she holds a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University and has also worked for Ms., Utne Reader, On the Issues, PlannedParenthood.org, Whole Living, PBS.org, Smithsonian magazine and IRIN, the newswire of the United Nations.
Ginty is leading an eight-part investigative series exploring environmental hazards and women’s health in the U.S.
Ogonnaya Dotson-Newman
Ogonnaya Dotson-Newman joined WE ACT in April 2008 as the organization’s Environmental Health and Community-Based Research Coordinator. Prior to joining the WE ACT team, Ogonnaya worked at Loma Linda University’s School of Public Health as a Research Associate and Instructor. Born and raised in California to a family of community organizers and environmental activists, she learned at an early age the strong link between health and the environment. Her strong passion for linking social justice and science led to an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science. She also holds an MPH with an emphasis on Environmental Health.
On Monday night Women's eNews and Suzanne C. Nagy will unveil Nagy's latest show exploring environmental degradation and the vast seepage of harmful chemicals that impacts the health of women and children across the U.S.
