Are you trying to find innovative ways of doing business to replace old, outdated ones?

Do you want to learn a new way to present your new business ideas?

Whether a start-up, existing business or a new line of business within an existing business, the Business Model Canvas is a tool you can use to strategize and present your ideas in a quick, simple and visual format. This lunch and learn will help nonprofit leaders easily identify the “who,” “what,” and “how” of running their businesses. The “who” is the target audience(s), the “what” is the value provided and needs that are addressed by the product/service, and the “how” is what resources and activities are crucial in satisfying your customers.”

·   Dr. Timothy Syfert, affiliate instructor of management in the Seidman College of Business, Grand Valley State University

The Brown Bag Lunch and Learn Series is a partnership between the School of Public, Nonprofit and Health Administration and the Johnson Center for Philanthropy that serves as a resource to the nonprofit community and provides a learning opportunity for students, faculty, and practitioners. A variety of timely and relevant topics are presented throughout the academic year.

This event is free and open to the public. Please register in advance in order to obtain a parking pass. Participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch; coffee and tea will be provided.
