Take the guesswork out of knowing what your customers are thinking. Customer surveys can be a powerful tool for any small business. Collecting accurate and useful information can help you improve your products and services and better serve your customers and your bottom line. With the right tools and a bit of planning, anyone can create and send out a survey. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to:

Figure out your big picture questions.

Choose the right approach (mail, phone, email).

Write effective survey questions.

Make decisions about reminders and incentives.

Analyze and use the information you collect to guide business decisions.

Through the lens of a fictionalized small business, we will cover each step in planning, designing, and implementing a customer survey and using the results to guide business decisions. Worksheets and tip sheets will be provided. Participants will also have an opportunity to work in small groups to plan and design a short survey for their business.
