AMALIA CAMATEROS  

Amalia Camateros, Australian born, author of Spirit of the Stones is a Naturopathic Doctor (Aust.) Shamanic Practitioner, Teacher, Healer, Priestess and Ceremony of Dance and Wisdom Guide.   She has worked in the field of health and consciousness for over 25 years and her studies and expertise range from classical yoga, meditation, breath work, alchemical work of the soul, dance, movement, and bee keeping.  

She studied at the Southern School of Natural Therapies, Melbourne, Australia and opened up her own 14 practitioner clinic as a Naturopathic Doctor, and has served the greater community for over 25yrs.   It was during this time that she worked as a personal health consultant for INXS (Australia’s foremost and leading musical rock band) for over 6 years tending to their health needs during their grueling tour schedules and demanding lifestyles.  

She also studied dance and yoga at The Mangala Studios of Creative Dance and Yoga for 5years under the tutilage of school director, Dorotea Mangiamelle, and has traveled extensively to study the prayer of dance of ancient cultures.  

Amalia has garnered a notable reputation as a ceremonial dancer for the inauguration of special events and conferences nationwide and for her ability as a powerful facilitator of her Shamanic based EarthSpirit Dance™ workshops. She has opened events for Alberto Villoldo, Jose Arguelles, David Hawkins, Michael Beckwith, and Robert Mirabal. She has also worked her dance segments into events and workshops for Neale Donald Walsch, Deepak Chopra and David Wolfe.  

As a wisdom worker, Amalia inspires us to reconnect with Earth and our own body as a sacred temple of living spirit. A service of her mastery is to integrate the awareness of the Spirit Self into the body with the full potential of divinity.
