A More Perfect Union, a well-established not-for-profit women's organization, is currently organizing its 2nd Annual Benefit and Silent Auction to be held in New York City on May 22, 2007. Last year's event was a tremendous success and we are counting on this one to be equally incredible. This year we, along with Kayce Freed Jennings, will be honoring two very special women who have successfully completed our Circle of Women program, which is dedicated to assisting women-at-risk on their roads to recovery. All proceeds from this event will benefit women-at-risk in the New York metropolitan area.
A More Perfect Union is an organization of women that trains women-at-risk to have supportive, healthy relationships. We deliver our program, The Circle of Women, to women recovering from lethal addictions, domestic abuse and homelessness. Through the sharing of common experiences, our program engenders trust, promotes personal responsibility and demonstrates the power of strong female bonds.
