Event Details

As the recovery process changes from relief to rebuilding, there are still a lot of work to be done and the people of Rockaway & Long beach still need volunteers to help in the rebuilding effort. We will be organizing a volunteer group to head out to both Rockaway Beach & Long Beach this Saturday, January 19th 2013.

We will be leaving from Picture Farm Studios (338 Wythe Avenue · Brooklyn, NY 11211) at 9:15AM.

We will be helping some people rebuild their homes by installing sheetrock and insulation. Some of the homes still need help with gutting and cleaning them out. We will also be sending some people around for recon and to gather information. We need people who are able-bodied and are not afraid to get dirty.

We are also looking for people with cars who can help drive people to and from Long Beach. If you think you can help with this, please email tjbreuer@gmail.com
