Waking up with Sheila O'Donnell

This award-winning Chicago born singer-songwriter has performed throughout Chicago and Los Angeles including The Apollo Theatre, Chicago Cultural Center, Genghis Cohen, The Viper Room, The Knitting Factory, The Mint, The House of Blues and won a Silver Award for Excellence for the I Heard The Mermaids Singing soundtrack at the Park City Film Music Festival in January 2008. 

Sheila is a thoughtful lyricist that attributes her ability to weave intoxicatingly beautiful entrancing songs into the hearts of her listeners from her musical family upbringing. She is a dynamic, charismatic performer whose passionate and clear voice blends world, folk-rock, Celtic and pop styles.  Sheila has a clear sense that her mission is "Lighting up the World with Music" and the songs just flow out of her with such uplifting messages of hope and peace and love that they seemed to be directly from the angels.

On the second Saturday of the month, the Temple of Light Spiritual Wellness Center, a non-profit organization, is honored to host a spiritually minded musician or group to perform a concert for our community. 

Concerts will begin promptly at 7:30pm.  Seating will be limited to 100 so arrive early to get the best seat.
