We invite you to be a part of the Indiana Building Green Symposium for 2010

Join the US Green Building Council - Indiana Chapter as we once again host the largest sustainable building conference in Indiana.  Learn more about green buildings in this compact 2-day event featuring expert speakers and exhibitors.  Network with the movers and the shakers in Indiana's green building movement. 

This conference is for EVERYONE with an interet in sustainability.   Whether you are new to the topic or established in the field - this is the one conference of the year you don't want to miss.

 

This year's line-up of nationally and internationally renowned experts include:

  • Toshiko Mori, FAIA is the Robert P. Hubbard Professor in the Practice of Architecture with tenure at Harvard University Graduate School of Design and was the chair of the Department of Architecture from 2002 to 2008
  • Pliny Fisk III, is co-founder of the Center for Maximum Potential Building Systems (CMPBS) in Austin, TX.  Fisk co-founded the CMPBS, an independent non-profit research and educational firm that concentrates on the interrelationships between the built and natural environments with a focus on sustainable community and local economic development.
  •  William Harrison is president, Trane Arkansas he is also president of ASHRAE.  His presidential theme, Maintain to Sustain – Delivering ASHRAE’s Sustainability Promise, focuses on operating buildings to deliver the energy efficiency inherent in their design, including   effective commissioning, improved documentation, and programs to educate and certify building operators. 
  • Doug Farr is founder and president of Farr Associates, a Chicago-based sustainable architecture and planning firm that is the first in the world to design three buildings certified as "platinum," the highest distinction under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System. He is author of "Sustainable Urbanism: Urban Design with Nature."
  • Dan Rockhill is the Executive Director of Studio 804 and the J L Constant Distinguished Professor of Architecture at the University of Kansas School of Architecture and Urban Planning.  He is a principal of the design firm Rockhill and AssociatesTheir awards include: Residential Architect magazine’s Firm of the Year, one of Natural Home magazine’s Top Ten Green Architecture Firms, and Architecture magazine’s “Home of the Year.”
