We are excited to invite you to submit a proposal to participate with a presentation at the Hispanic Educational Summit 2010: a North Carolina Society of Hispanic Professionals (NCSHP) educational conference by Hispanic professionals, for Hispanic students, and the people who support them.

Our Summit 2010 will be hosted by North Carolina State University and will take place on Friday, March 26, 2010 at the McKimmon Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Please let us know your interest in participating in the Summit by returning the speaker registration form as soon as possible.

The goal of this Summit is to serve as an outreach educational program to encourage 6^th-12^th grade Hispanic students to stay in school, earn good grades and continue with their education. The Board of Directors of NCSHP considers the workshops/presentations of our educational conferences to be the backbone of the Summit.  Presentations for the summit will be focused in three general topics: 1) Life Skills; 2) Education Planning; and 3) Career Planning.

As a summit speaker you can share with the audience what your organization is doing to help Hispanic youth to succeed academically.  Additionally, you are encouraged to make your presentation as interactive as possible, and to give the students the opportunity to express their ideas and ask questions of their concern. We also ask speakers to weave the following themes into their presentations:

Career Planning
Marketing and Sales Careers
Health Careers
Creative Arts Careers
AmeriCorps/Peace Corps
University Admissions
