College of Education Workshops
When you attend our workshops, you’ll hear from College of Education faculty, who will share their expertise on a range of topics for professional development. Join us to discuss teaching/learning topics and to network with faculty and leaders in your community.
8 AM – Registration, coffee, light breakfast
8:30 – Welcome, KeyNote
9-10:30 – Workshops
10:30 – 10:45 - Break, Networking, light snacks
10:45 – 12:15 – Workshops
12:15 – 12:30 – Close, Issue PD certificates
- Participate in two complimentary workshops on a wide range of teaching and learning topics
- Choose from technology use, differentiation strategies, student engagement, elementary math and the Common Core Standards and English Learners and writing
- Prepare for your job search or learn how to support your classroom with Donors Choose projects
- Receive a certificate of attendance which may be used for Professional Development hours
