Getting acquainted with wine — the first step
Spend a full day with Savvy Sommelier - Wayne Walker - as he guides you through an introduction of all of the elements of wine. You will learn the FUN-damentals of wine appreciation with hands-on experience in:
- wine tasting techniques
- speaking the wine lingo like a pro
- describing characteristics of a wine
- glassware and decanters - does it make a difference?
- serving wine - there is more to it than popping a cork!
- appreciating the different types and styles of wine
- finding good value wines
- food and wine pairing techniques
- deciphering a restaurant's wine list
