Indian Cooking Class: Cheera Biryani, Kerala Chicken Curry, and Coconut Rice

As you walk into the class, you’ll be greeted with some hot chai.
We begin the class by making a Cheera Biryani; it is a North East Indian snack item made from dried flattened rice with spices and other goodness.
After we are done polishing off the Cheera Biryani, we’ll cook a Kerala Chicken Curry from scratch using high quality chicken, fresh herbs, spices, and other ingredients. You'll learn how to make a garama masala from scratch as part of this wonderful, authentic recipe.
We'll pair this perfect chicken curry with coconut rice that we'll cook from scratch as well. This rice dish is very versatile and can be paired with just about anything. This is a recipe you'll find yourself returning to quite a bit in the future.
