Cities4Life welcomes Pam Tebow to Charlotte to share her life story. In 1985, Pam and Bob Tebow moved to the Philippines where they served as missionaries and built the Bob Tebow Evangelistic Association and Uncle Dick’s Orphanage. Pam, mother of Tim Tebow, 2007 Heisman Trophy winner and NFL Quarterback, received national attention when ESPN aired a portion of an interview focused on her refusal to abort “Timmy”. Prior to becoming pregnant, Pam contracted amoebic dysentery and fell into a coma. Her pregnanc...y was not discovered until she was well into recovery. Due to the strong drug treatment doctors advised the couple toward abortion to avoid a stillborn delivery, but Pam and Bob refused and on August 14, 1987 Tim was born as a healthy baby in Manila.

The night will also feature stories about Cities4Life's local efforts to provide LIFE to abortion-minded mothers in our city. C4L seeks to transform the culture of death brought about by abortion to a culture of LIFE in our city as we work to mobilize the Body of Christ to help those who cannot help themselves. This is accomplished by uniting and supporting grassroots, Gospel-centered ministries, families, and individuals dedicated to proclaiming the love of Jesus Christ and providing a tangible support network to abortion-minded mothers at and beyond our local abortion clinics.

Coffee and dessert with Pam Tebow and representatives from some of the LIFE Network partners will immediately follow the presentation. If you are looking for a great recommendation for dinner we suggest the King's Kitchen located at 129 W Trade Street or one of the many fine restaurants in the area immediately surrounding the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center.
