Join us as we welcome Tom Lambalot, Entrepreneur (Paratek Microwave, SmartLink Radio Networks) on January 22th.
Tom Lambalot has over 25 years of experience as an entrepreneur with particular emphasis in the wireless industry. Most recently, Tom was Chief Commercial Officer of Nashua based Paratek Microwave, the world leader in RF Tuning solutions for wireless handsets. Paratek won the coveted 2011 Red Herring Top Global 100 award (acquired by Blackberry® - RIM in March 2012). Prior to Paratek, Tom was the CEO of SmartLink Inc.; a venture backed company working to solve the interoperability problem plaguing our nation's first responders (acquired by CalAmp in April 2007). Tom was also CEO of Envoy Networks, a venture backed start-up developing next generation (UMTS) cellular infrastructure equipment (acquired by Texas Instruments in February 2002). From 1995 to 1999, Tom was President of Filtronic Comtek where he led an organization of over 500 people and grew annual sales from $20M to over $100M. the company traded on the UK exchange and grew to a Market Capitalization of $1.5B. In November 1994, Tom also co-founded Visicat, a software company that developed one of the earliest forms of Parametric Search used on the WWW. It morphed into BidsDirect.com and ran a B2B exchange for the electrical industry (acquired by Paris based Framatome International in May 2000). Tom has a BSEET from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from Boston University. He sits on the Board of Trustees for UMass - Dartmouth.
