Character Camp

Your characters need to get out and play a little. Take them to camp with Screenwriting Instructor Pilar Alessandra, director of the Los Angeles-based writing program "On the Page."
Characters aren't all the same and there's no reason they should have to play by the same old rules. This class challenges your characters to be active in their own story, help them find their voice and drive their own story.
The class will help you:
- Create multi-dimensional characters
- Define a language and voice for your characters
- Brainstorm story with a character-driven structure
- Discover your supporting characters' story and point of view
- Enliven your scenes with great character moments
There will also be a live question-and-answer session during the last 15 to 20 minutes of the webinar where all attendees can chat questions to Pilar live. These questions will be chosen at random. You may also submit questions in advance to webinars@finaldraft.com attention Pilar Questions. These submissions will be considered for the Q&A as well.
