Los Angeles, CA 90036
There is a fee--based parking lot in addition to on-street parking in surface streets around Wilshire.
Career paths in Hollywood can be notoriously circuitous; unwilling
to settle into a 'glam' career just because it was coveted, such was
the case for Kat Cressida. After starting out in the mail room at
William Morris, she became a junior literary agent, and then decided to
transition to on-camera acting, only to find her true calling was in
voiceovers. She recently recorded James Cameron’s AVATAR, PRINCE OF
PERSIA (Videogame) and RATCHETT & KLANK (Videogame); and is
currently working on ROBIN HOOD (Ridley Scott), THE BACK UP PLAN
(voicematch for Jennifer Lopez), ARCHER (F/X Animated Series) and TOY
STORY 3 (voicematch).
An alumna of UC Berkeley, and the A.C.T. masters program in San
Francisco, with degrees in Shakespeare and Theater Production, Kat will
share her experience as a former agent and current voice talent in 'the
biz behind the biz', discussing how to navigate the entertainment
industry as a writer, director, actor or other entertainment
professional.
