In this workshop we will talk about the personality and skill-set that are needed when starting a new venture. It will be a practical workshop in which we will discuss tools that can help you identify the right founding team for your startup.
The workshop is kindly supported by Dorsey & Whitney. Frances Doherty, Partner at Dorsey & Whitney will be with us during part of the workshop in order to solve the legal questions you might have related to your startup.

Speakers:
Itxaso del- Palacio is an academic entrepreneur: as an academic Itxaso has a PhD in Entrepreneurship and is a Teaching Fellow in Entrepreneurship at UCL. At UCL she is starting masteringstartups.com for accelerating the entrepreneurial process of students at UCL. As an entrepreneur she is the co-founder of Founders Fit which helps entrepreneurs find co-founders. She is also an Investment Analyst at EC1 Capital which has invested in companies such as HouseBites, Glean.en and Retronaut.
In the past, she taught at Imperial College and lived in San Francisco for several years working on business development for Spanish technology organisations.
Dorsey & Whitney has a practice working with emerging and established technology clients. They work with many entrepreneurs in East London operating in e-commerce and the Internet among others. They have also extensive experience protecting and commercializing technology in several industries including biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, software and information technology, e-commerce and the Internet, hardware and electronics, as well as medical devices and food and consumer products.
