About the Presenters
Shaunda Slade
With more than 15 plus years in the Advertising Industry, Shaunda is proficient and knowledgeable with the Screen Actors Guild Commercials Contract, AFTRA Radio Commercials Contract and the American Federation of Musicians. In addition, Shaunda has comprehensive knowledge of A.I.C.P. and A.I.C.E guidelines.
Experienced in all facets of talent payments and broadcast business affairs, Shaunda has a thorough understanding of what’s required to make broadcast business run smoothly. Her background includes Publicis, Inc., DraftFCB, Berlin Cameron & Partners and Broadcast Traffic and Residuals. Shaunda specializes in rights acquisitions, celebrity negotiations and international broadcast administration.
Afsaneh Berjis
Afsaneh Berjis has worked in the production business for close to 20 years. Most recently, as the Chief Operating Officer of JWTwo, a division of J. Walter Thompson , NY. Afsaneh has nearly 20 years of experience in television commercial production, financial planning, financial risk management, as well as production consulting. Afsaneh was an Executive Producer at EUE/Screen Gems. She eventually became their CFO and oversaw all the commercial divisions of the company. Afsaneh has been a production consultant for such clients as Kraft General Foods, Wyeth, Schering Plough, etc. While at JWTwo, she worked with Reckitt, J& J, Diageo, DTC, etc.
