Join Keith Granet for this in depth convesation with Bjarke Ingels, founder of BIG Bjarke Ingels Group, at the New School in New York.
Bjarke Ingels started BIG Bjarke Ingels Group in 2005 after co-founding PLOT Architects in 2001 and has developed a reputation for buildings that are as programmatically and technically innovative as tehy are cost and resource concious. Bjarke has recieved numerous awards and honors, including the Danish Crown Prince's Culture Prize in 2011. In 2012, the American Institute of Architects granted the 8 House its Honor Award, calling it "a complex and exemplary project of a new typology."
Inside the Business of Design is a six night series of one-on-one interviews with highly respected design professionals, exporing the business side of prominent architecture and interior design practices. Keith Granet, author of "The Business of Design," conducts these interviews to enlighten the audience with the way each of these leaders created their successful design firms.
The 2012/2013 Season interviews wrap up with Holly Hunt on July 11, 2013. Archives of interview with Robert A.M. Stern, Charlotte Moss, Mark Ferguson and Bunny Williams are available online.
