Verre églomisé, from the French term meaning glass gilded, is a process in which the back side of glass is gilded with gold or metal leaf and/or paint. Join Concept/Ok artist Marjorie Atwood, to learn more about this ancient art form including traditional examples and contemporary applications. Participants will be given small pieces of gilded glass to complete a project while viewing a demonstration of water gilding. Art reference materials will be available for students to use for design inspiration. All materials included.
