A Pioneer Event for Women
The New England Women’s Leadership Awards (NEWLA), developed by the Colonel Daniel Marr Boys and Girls Club, was the first of its kind in the Boston area to publicly honor the accomplishments of women, and provide positive role models for the young women of the Club – inspiring them to be the leaders of tomorrow.
Honoring Heroes and Mentors in New England
Since its inception in 1992, nearly 70 outstanding women have been recognized in the fields of business, law, education, communications, health care, human services, politics, sports and the arts.
