Entrepreneur School is a face to face networking event that combines business networking with business education. So many businesses fail because many Entrepreneurs lack the necessary knowledge and business skills required to help them navigate, at times, perilous and unforgiving journey of being in business. If Entrepreneurs knew what they would have to give up in pursuing their dreams before they started, would they have actually started their business? Entrepreneur School can have an impact on business success rates by providing a unique opportunity for Entrepreneurs and business owners to build an extended support network of like-minded people whilst gaining valuable skills.
We already have a number of Network members who have put themselves forward to act as an Entrepreneur School Leader and during the next three months we plan to have up to 20 ES locations across the UK with Chelmsford being the ES HQ.
We welcome you to join us at the Entrepreneur School Guildford and experience something fresh and exciting which will add real value to your business.

"Your Entry Into Business (& Risk Strategy) and Networking Party - Presented By Father Christmas
Jeremy Webb worked for 34 years with Barclays, the last 20 as a Corporate Manager looking after (over time) some 950 customers of all different sizes and sectors. Success involved understanding the where, when, why and how of each business and bringing his financial and commercial expertise to leverage their business expertise for mutual benefit. The real value add to those customers was the sharing of experience gained in dealing with so many business situations over a long period of time. Understanding their financial needs and being able to support them with bank products and services was a given!
In earlier days he was an Operations Manager responsible for Human Resources/Health &Safety/ Training and Assessment; he had 2 years experience of Internal Audit and also managed sales teams. He was also a director of Kingston Chamber of Commerce (8 years) when he had to deal with members in very different way.
Since leaving Barclays in 2006 he was Group Treasurer then Group HR & Operations Director for an internationally based SME IT Services Group and became a "game keeper turned poacher" quite successfully!
For the last 18 months Jeremy has run Webbery Associates Ltd - Business & Business Finance Consultants. Webbery Associates provide consultancy, advice and support to primarily owner-managed businesses in London & the South East. Help can be provided to meet individual needs in the areas of business and financial management, business planning and arranging bank finance.

“Your entry into Business (& Risk Strategy)”
“So you’re going to go into business then?” This is a conversation Jeremy has had with any number of people of all shapes, sizes, ages, ethnicity and sexes and at many different stages of their careers.
For some it is the answer to having been made redundant and being unable to find another job. To others it is as though a whole new world of opportunity has opened up to them or the holy grail which they wish to pursue once they have worked a new activity up so that they can give up ”the day job”.
In this last event before the Christmas Season Jeremy will take a light hearted look at issues that should be considered and how to mitigate at least some of the risks of starting or running one’s own business. Fun and laughter guaranteed for prospective business starters, recent starters, and experienced business people!
Networking Party/Competition
Networking is seriously important. In fact, it is so important that you have no idea how important it is. (And for those of you who have read “The Hitchiker’s Guide To The Galaxy”, just substitute “space” for “networking” and “big” for “seriously important” !) Given that, there is no reason why you can’t enjoy Networking. Santa will be awarding a prize to the “Best Networker of the Evening”. However, there’s a catch (isn’t there always ?). Santa makes the Rules (based on his experience).

Entrepreneur School Leader
With a BSc in Physics from Imperial College, Peter started in Business as a Graduate Engineer, collecting various post-Graduate Certificates and an MSc in his spare time. Peter spent some 37 years in corporate business, spanning most roles from basic Design and Development through to Test, Production, etc, before moving into Systems and Programme Management. The opportunities to travel around the world, supporting Marketing and carrying out contract negotiations, were used to great advantage. Having reached Cabinet level and 4* level contacts, he finally left international corporate business and took the Independent route, achieving the success and the work/leisure balance he wanted, with a Science and Technology Consultancy company.
Separately, the growing Business Consultancy, which he offers in conjunction with Entrepreneur School, is intended to provide support to others, whether via Tuition, CVs, Documentation, ICT and Websites, Assistance to find Investors, Commercial Analysis, Business Planning and Reviews.
Peter is currently working with SMEs to achieve major contracts (in excess of GB£40M) with the Primes; he is also setting up a complete Internet based business package as a Turnkey system for a Farmer who wishes to sell meat products directly to the public, providing 'worthy individuals' with CVs and websites, and still carrying out some Tuition work (the future lies in the Education of the young).
Peter’s hobbies include most Countrysports, including fly-fishing (when he can catch the flies!) and breeding and working his gundogs. His garden is a place of continuous development, and he is now seeking a new house for a development project.

About Entrepreneur School
If you have ever had a vision or a dream to start a business, then you will know only too well that when you first see the vision of what you want to create, you are compelled to act in making your project a reality. If you make mistakes during the research stages, get your company focus wrong or take the wrong advice, then it could seriously damage the chances of your business succeeding. Could there be something out there that might help you get it right from the outset? The answer is, yes, there is - it’s called Entrepreneur School.
Entrepreneur School will be series of face to face networking events held in different town locations across the UK, with the primary aim of helping to improve new business startup success rates as well as improving the ongoing success of existing UK businesses.
We can only get the network to reach a terminal velocity and have the high levels of activity that we require if people go out of their way and participate. Every fire starts with a small flame and this is where we are right now. What we need is a full scale bush fire and then, and only then, will we have achieved what we initially set out to do. We truly believe that the combination of online and face to face networking with Entrepreneur School and Raw Business Magazine will create one of the UK’s most versatile and much needed business support and business growth networks.
We all know that 17 out of 20 businesses fail within the first two years but with the combination that we offer our members, we may just help to change the odds of success.
If you have a dream of going into business and you would like to increase your odds of success then why not join thousands of other Entrepreneurs who are part of the Raw Business Network by registering with us free. You will not be disappointed and who knows together we just might become - United Entrepreneurs!

Raw Business was the brain child of Bradley Chapman who has had many years of business experience and has enjoyed both the ups and downs of being in business. Like many business owners and entrepreneurs, Bradley has seen his fair share of adversity and continues to fight for UK Entrepreneurs and their businesses.
His idea was to create a web site that helped UK Entrepreneurs and business people. The original web site www.millionimpossible.com was created by Entrepreneurs for Entrepreneurs. The business was started from scratch with a limited capital investment but with the dream of creating the UK’s largest Honest Entrepreneur Network. The business has faced massive amounts of adversity like many start-up business.
The website now has thousands of members and has successfully launched Entrepreneur School from their Chelmsford Head Office location.
Raw Business also has a business publishing arm and has now successfully publishes on line and printed editions of their business and entrepreneur magazine titled "Raw Business Magazine" which features interviews with high profile entrepreneurs such as Duncan Bannatyne, Rachel Elnaugh, Doug Richard, Max Clifford and Levi Roots whilst focusing on grass roots businesses and entrepreneurs through topical editorial and it’s regular columnists and contributors who are specialists in their field offering advise and support.
Raw Business has started designing their global website which should be ready for an early 2010 launch with the aim of positively bringing the Global Entrepreneurial Business Community together, engaging International Trading and encouraging World Wide Entrepreneurial Innovation.
The aim of Entrepreneur School is to combine face to face networking within a business training environment so that start-ups and established businesses can gain full and comprehensive knowledge about being in and running a business as well as what it takes to be successful, learning and meeting new contacts that they can utilise along their journey.
The lessons presented at each Entrepreneur School are published on the Raw Business website here and allows both Raw members and the wider business community, access to a library of material which is sure to help them and their business.
