Event Details

Membership in the National 8(a) Association:  Upon payment of annual dues applicable to your organization, and upon making the representation/self-certification shown below:

  • all firms with active 8(a) status (as certified by the U.S . Small Business Administration at https://dsbs.sba.gov/dsbs), may be admitted as Regular (or voting) Members.
  • all other organizations may be admitted as Associate Members.

 

By submitting this application the applicant is self-certifying the following:

To the best of its knowledge and belief, that the applicant company/principals are not presently debarred, suspended, proposed for debarment, or declared ineligible for the award of contracts by any Federal agency, and have not, within a three year period preceding this application been convicted of or had civil judgment rendered against them for; commission of fraud or a criminal offense in connection with obtaining, attempting to obtain, or performing a Federal/State government contract or subcontract; violation of Federal/state antitrust statutes relating to the submission of offers; or commission of embezzlement, theft, forgery, bribery, falsification or destruction of records, making false statements, tax evasion, or receiving stolen property, and are not presently indicted for, or otherwise criminally or civilly charged by a Government entity with commission of any of these offenses.  Furthermore, the applicant represents that it is not listed on the Government's Excluded Parties List System at https://www.epls.gov/.

The National 8(a) Association is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization – Tax ID Number 26-0898464. The Association estimates that 1% percent of its dues and voluntary assessments for 2010 will be attributable to lobbying or other nondeductible expenses described in section 162(e)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code. Accordingly, only 99% of your 2010 dues or other contributions are deductible as a business expense. 

Dues and contributions to the National 8(a) Association are not deductible as charitable contributions.
