Tasting with Deb Mortillaro of Dreadnought Wines
Friday, March 8, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
The wine you choose to cook with is always based on a question: Will it be part of the sauce or liquid of the dish, or will it be cooked down with many other ingredients? Learn how to dress up a jarred tomato sauce, steam mussels and deglaze a pan. If you aren’t full by then, try Deb’s Bananas Foster with an amazing Rum. $35 COST OF SIX 2-OZ. POURS OF WINE IS INCLUDED IN TOTAL CLASS PRICE.
If you prefer to pay with cash or gift cards, please visit the Cooking School upstairs at the Robinson Market District. The Cooking School staff will confirm if seats are available for this class, and you will pay at the registers. After you have paid, bring your receipt back to the Cooking School immediately to reserve your seat in the class.

Created to share food knowledge, trends, tips and techniques, our cooking school is a place where cooks of all levels can go to explore new food ideas. Our roomy kitchen, located on the second floor, permits students to both observe and practice hands-on cooking skills, learning how to make everything from teriyaki and tarts to pasta and pupusas.
Run by Chef Keira Hightower, the school offers a wide range of classes taught by Market District chefs, guest chefs and cookbook authors, and nutritionists. The school’s state-of-the-art facilities allow up to 18 students to watch demonstration classes and up to 12 to participate in hands-on courses.
