Courtesy of the Canon Explorers of Light, Nick Vedros presents a very informative, inspiring, and entertaining program on his approach to advertising and commercial photography. Join us as he examines the amazing images he has created throughout his career and explains his problem-solving methods.

Nick has become an icon in commercial photography over his many years in the business and he will discuss marketing and style, how to get your work seen, and the different approaches he has used during his career to gain national work.

Inspired by his uncle Mike's B&W photographs on the family kitchen table when he was 13, Nick was inspired to attend the University of Missouri and earn a degree in Photojournalism in 1976. He then quickly found his true passion in the world of commercial photography. Anyone can look through a viewfinder, but there's nothing simple about Nick's multi-disciplinary approach for bringing a concept to life:

This event is FREE, courtesy of Canon. The doors will open at 6:30pm on January 17th, with the program beginning at 7pm. The event will be hosted at San Diego City College's Career Technology Center auditorium, 1018 16th St, San Diego CA 92101.  NOTE that the auditorium holds 125 seats, and seating is first-come, first-served.
