When & Where
Business Acceleration System
The Business Acceleration System is dedicated to speeding the development of entrepreneurs by helping them acquire and apply the knowledge they need to grow their companies.
BAS uses a multi-faceted approach that includes coaching, expert technical assistance, classroom learning, and web-based instruction to deliver the right content at the right time. BAS clients are evaluated to determine development priorities and BAS coaches help to design customized learning plans for each entrepreneur.
BAS provides support to entrepreneurs throughout Central Louisiana. Funding from The Rapides Foundation and the State of Louisiana’s Office of Community Development makes our work possible. The entrepreneurs participating in BAS have been responsible for the creation of about 750 new jobs and $150 million in economic impact.
BAS does not charge entrepreneurs for services provided, but we expect our clients to also be willing to invest in their own development. BAS is managed by the Central Louisiana Economic Development Alliance.
